Dr. Robert Hoddeson received his medical degree with Alpha Omega Alpha honors from University of Texas Medical School and his DDS from NYU College of Dentistry. He completed both his internship in General Surgery and his residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Texas Medical Branch where he received several awards including Surgery Intern of the Year.
Dr. Hoddeson is a fellow of the American Academy of Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery and a member of several medical societies including the American Medical Association and American Academy of Otolaryngic Allergies. Dr. Hoddeson is board certified in Otolaryngology and has special interest in the diagnosing and treatment of allergies. Dr. Hoddeson began his career practicing in Texas in 1985. He brought his practice to Georgia in 1988 and is a founding partner of ENT of Georgia when it was established in 1995. He has served as the Assistant Medical Director for ENT of Georgia since 2002.
The combination of his Dentistry and Otolaryngology training affords Dr. Hoddeson the unique ability to offer office techniques and procedures.
In his spare time, Dr. Hoddeson enjoys running and cooking. Dr. Hoddeson has served for many years as a Eucharistic Minister at his church and has participated in many charity projects through his church. Dr. Hoddeson has been a participating physician of the Physician Care Clinic since 2002 which affords him the opportunity to service the medical needs of the indigent community. Dr. and Mrs. Hoddeson have been married for 32 years and are the proud parents of four children. They will be celebrating the expansion of their family with the birth of their first grandchild in the summer of 2014.
Dr. Hoddeson is accepting new patients and welcomes most major insurance plans. He sees patients in the Decatur, Snellville, Duluth and St. Joseph’s offices of ENT of Georgia and specializes in Allergies.
